What a great topic! This is something that God has been speaking to me about for some time now. I LOVE your point about the seasons of life… It’s so important to know what season you are in! Some things can happen now, some things will happen later.
Thanks for the encouragement, Lisa!
Thank you sooooooooo much! Today was one of the hardest days I’ve had in a long time. I was feeling like a complete failure as a mom, a homeschool teacher, homemaker, everything. All I felt like I did today was discipline my four boys. Honestly, I was feeling alone and unloved. After all, if my children loved me they would obey, right.? Haha! Thank you for encouraging my walk today. God bless you.
So glad we were able to! Honestly, the days we have to put the curriculum aside and focus on “character” (meaning, “They’re too bad to teach right now”) … those are the days that really shape the adults they become. That’s what one of our adult sons told us recently – “Thank you, Mama, for disciplining me.”
