Help My Kid Wants to Play Sports
So, your kid wants to play sports — no problem right? You sign them up at the local Little League field and they play. End of story. Well… that is just the beginning of the story. I went from a reluctant sports mom to an avid participant in taking my kids to countless practices, talking to the other moms, comparing notes on how to wash those white pants and of course sitting at every game. However, there is so much I wish I had known.

Show Notes – Help My Kid Wants to Play Sports!
In A Carry Bag:
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- High Energy Snacks
- Thermo Bags – put in a frozen water bottle instead of ice – water will thaw
- Emergency Kits – band-aids, ointment, stinging spray, etc.
- Windbreaker, dry wick long sleeve shirt
- Moist towelettes
- Paper towels, tissues
- Umbrella
In the Car:
- Blankets – in dry storage bag (I use the bags that take all the air out)
- Paper plates, paper towels, moist towelettes
- Bunge Cords
- Shade canopy on wheels
- Pop up chairs that fold in a bag- I like the ones with mesh backs
- Stadium Seats
Tournaments:
- High Energy Snacks
- Finger foods – carrots, celery, dip
- Fruit: watermelon, pineapple slices, citrus fruits
- Water bottles
- Cooler
Dress:
- Dry-wick clothing
- Comfortable shoes – tennis shoes or walking shoes
- Change of clothing
