Moms & Nehemiah
Taken from the Book of Nehemiah, particularly Nehemiah 3
What does the book of Nehemiah have to do with homeschooling and intentional parenting?
- Like many homeschooling parents, Nehemiah was a man of prayer
- Nehemiah teaches us to “Do Weakness well”
- Nehemiah teaches us to let a question LIVE
- Let God fight our battles; let him be the defender when we experience injustice.
2 Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
Isaiah 61:3 They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord, for the display of his splendor.
Teach our kids to discern, to be critical thinkers, to love God’s word.
- Christian Counseling and Education Foundation: Tedd Tripp: Shepherding a Child’s Heart
- Word Studies 1828 Webster’s Dictionary
- Look up key word definitions
- Look up scriptures on that
- Definitions are part of our kid’s weaponry.
