Are you ready to say goodbye to survival mode? YES! This is the first step in living a life of joy and Rejoicing Daily. I am so excited to share this fantastic interview with Crystal Paine: Money Saving Mom, as she encourages you from the heart. As you listen to Crystal, take notes and pay close attention. This interview takes place in an airport, yet Crystal is calm. It is obvious that she is doing just what God has called her to do.

Good for her for staying calm the entire time. I get so much anxiety in airports and it’s hard not to pick up on the stress of the people around you in places like that 🙂
Oh, that is hard if yo pick up on other people’s stress, Robin! I know large crowds bother me after a while…so I tend to find places to relax and be alone when I’m out for a long time.
One of my goals for 2014 is to allow peace and patience to rule my steps. Not absorbing stress from others is key.
Yes, peace and patience. That is something I have been praying about and working on as well, Virginia! This book has been very helpful and Crystal is such an encourager. Thanks for dropping by!
Great interview! I’m not keen on airports myself, I only deal with them out of necessity.
Thank you, Ashley. It was a lot of fun. I don’t know if you have read Crystal’s book or heard her speak, but I highly recommend it. I hope you’ll subscribe to my podcast and come by. The show goes live the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at noon (eastern).
I know just how much fun an anxiety attack can be. I try to just avoid public venues all together…as as air port would send me into a massive panic attack. She’s a braver soul than I.
Oh, Isabella, that is hard! I don’t like being in large crowds for extended periods of time…..but, I haven’t had an anxiety attack yet. That would not be fun at all.
Calm in an airport – there is one cool lady. I need to remind myself to stay calm and find serenity in the crazy or hectic moments of my day!
I saw a church sign today that stated something along the lines of “Daily devotions are better than yearly resolutions.” I feel that this goes in great with your message and is oh so true!
I like that, Cassie! I’ll have to remember that for the future.
Peace, patience, and a lot of other calming things that I forget daily.
I needed this calming reminder,thanks!
Mitch
I am always looking for peace and calm in my life! I used to let anxiety rule my life, not anymore!
That sounds great, Lauren. it’s wonderful when we free ourselves from those shackles, isn’t it?
I find myself getting anxiety often. I think it started when I was in middle school because I was extremely shy and worried about what others thought of me. I have gotten better over the years but I do have my moment.
I haven’t read her book (yet), but it sounds like something I could definitely use. I find myself in survival mode most days – I think today I may have even told someone it was survival of the fittest. Not a fun way to live!
No, it isn’t a fun way to live. Let me know when you read it, I would love to hear your thoughts.
Definitely not a fun way to live, Jaime. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the book!
i live with an anxiety disorder. i don’t let it define me. i have to just be creative to get around it so i’m not in my own way all the time
Our attitude determines our altitude. We must get the attitude we want to have because we are abundantly blessed and favored.
I agree, we need to rejoice daily. Counting our blessings will change us and make the life better for us. What a wonderful interview!
“living a life of joy and Rejoicing Daily” I like that!
I like to stay out of big, crowded stressful situations if at all possible. There is just too much potential for anxiety and stress. Airports seem like they would be the worst!
I loved this! So encouraging! My biggest take away – saying no isn’t a weakness, but a strength! And focusing on YOUR strengths, not others. Oh, and in 25 years, is what I’m doing now going to matter?! Thank you so much Rebecca and Crystal!
YES! Find the beauty in knowing God wants to use our strengths and our weaknesses and truly – 25 years pass quickly. Write down today what you want to remember, what legacy you want to have then, and set your goals according to that and the will of God in your life!
I feel myself living in survival mode way too often, especially with a new baby in the house! I do need to work on bringing more peace and calmness in my life.
What an inspirational message you’re sharing! 🙂 I am not religious, but I love that people use their faith to encourage others!
I wasn’t able to listen to the interview but I’m sure there was a great message.
Amanda, I hope you can come back later and listen. Thank you for dropping by.
Love hearing inspirational stories like these. Thank you for sharing!!
One rule I need to remember this year is to have much better peace
Great interview. I could definitely use some more patience for sure!
I notice I get really anxious if there’s a lot going on around me….I try and breath and say a little prayer and it helps calm me down.
I have also tried to find more peace in my life. To not allow situations to determine the way I feel.
I’m working on getting out of survival mode most days. I constantly have to remind myself to stay calm and that I’m not the one in control. I just keep repeating “Let go and let God” over and over A LOT
