God is faithful and His Word is effective!

How to judge a sermon.

How to listen to a sermon.

Knowledge is NOT a goal, it’s a means to an end.

How to take truth and put it in place for the week ahead.

Tools for Listening

Get comfortable.

Stay alert

Ask God to show you WHERE you should be applying the teaching

Take Notes/draw picture/draw diagrams/draw charts.

Amen the pastor.

Set Yourself Up for Success

Reread passages & notes in QT next day

Prayerfully consider opportunities to apply

Ask for opportunities to obey
