Learning a foreign language is a valuable life skill! Today, I’m joined by French teacher, Rachel Margaillon. Rachel met her Italian husband in the Eukraine and the language they had in common was English! They are now homeschooling three polyglots who speak, read and write, French, English and Italian, wth hopes to learn Spanish next!

Rachel loves teaching languages and explains how our brains are made for learning a foreign language!

To learn a foreign language well.

Students need to tell themselves, “I can do it!”
Take time to listen and read the language that you are learning.
Introduce your kids to people who speak the language that they are learning and who speak multiple languages.
