I met Kari almost twenty years ago, when her youngest son was just a baby. She and I began an accountability group and started meeting on a weekly basis. We would share our struggles, our successes, encourage and pray for one another. We shared some precious times all those years ago. If you would have asked me to describe Kari Oakley in those days, I would have said that she was living her best life. Kari was a happily married mother of five, was homeschooling, involved in ministry, and had many friends. Her life was going according to plan.
However, a shocking phone call on November 19, 2018 forced her to abandon all knew. She was forced to make a new plan.
You do not want to miss this heart tugging interview with Kari Oakley Miller. I appreciate Kari’s willingness to be vulnerable in hopes of helping someone else who might find themselves in her shoes. As you will hear in our time together, Kari shares how she dealt with grief, fear, and loneliness. Kari is an inspiration to her children, her friends, and her community. I know that Kari will be an inspiration to you, as well. We would love to hear what you think about our time together. Feel free to leave a comment here or on one of our social media outlets. As always, thank you to The Ultimate Homeschooling Radio Network for helping me bring these podcast interviews to you.
